Dorothy Parshall Yet More Clutter's Last Stand - 2016 (374* d) RE: Yet More Clutter's Last Stand - 2016 04 Dec 16

Beaver:
Ever since I "upgraded" my computer, I have had difficulties. Cookies disappear. Things do not go the way they used to....

have a spot for sewing; have machine out; have drape ready to hem....

Threw a bunch of mugs a couple days ago; trimmed and handled them and threw some more today and a few small pitchers; worked 4 hours today; then wrapped the remainder in plastic for tomorrow; totally pooped; had a good brunch/supper; that is the only meal happening today; I was very late up; realized a short time ago that I had been so intent on getting into the studio - noonish - that I never even washed face, never mind BF!

Sorted through a box of papers and put a couple inches in fire, the rest into appropriate places; one empty box! Starting to get house ready for Dan to finish wall and reinforce ceiling while I am away. Hopefully this is the last work in house, other than minor stuff like nicer lighting. Many surfaces must be cleared, room made for him to work!

spoke with Gallery pres yesterday about the opening for my friend's show (Friday!) I requested chance to speakat the reception, very briefly - she was totally OK with it! I am sponsoring the show for this friend of 40+ years. SO EXCITED! So are he and his wife! I am SO happy as it was my idea that he have a show and I kind of pushed it, starting 2 and a half years ago when I was visiting and saw the walls covered with wonderful art! In the meantime, he started painting more, had a heart attack, died, recovered and has been painting and making the most wonderful ceramic/multi-media fish to hang. So, yeah, not exactly de-cluttering but I am SO excited!

Today was sunny and cold but at least it was sunny! Already down to 20F; heat on in studio, for sure. Hope to get more done tomorrow.
