My sister and I were reminiscing about songs sung at family parties when we were young - a long time ago! One song our father, Michael McCabe, sang was 'I'll be up with the lark in the morning'. It went: Sleepy head I used to be called when I was just a lad Sleepy head I used to be called each morning by my dad But my sleepy days are over and to them I've said goodbye Soon I'll be in clover and here's the reason why I'll be up with the lark in the morning with a song in my heart as I roam I'll be up with the lark in the morning on my way to home sweet home. We were trying to get a copy of someone singing it to add to our collection but could not find even a reference to the song anywhere. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you
