Ballad fans may be interested ... I have been translating a number of Scandinavian folk ballads --- the so-called medieval ballads. I published a third collection of these translations recently as The Faraway North. I have mostly been working out of Swedish, but The Faraway North also has quite a few ballads from Norway.
