I am a very old fellow who has been a working Musician (singer & bass player) but 20 years ago I ceased the bass due to Carpal Tunnel. I can still sing and have done some stage shows and other gigs. I have put together a program of oldies from the 20s to the 50s , about 50 songs, by creating them with Band in a Box. They would be considered canned music but very usable because I have included the melody to remind the old folks of their youth by singing along. I have not as yet performed in a nursing home but will do so very soon. PS, I am 87 at this time so I will be right at home with many of the folks there. WISH ME LUCK. i'll report my success or lack thereof!
