email I received - Danny "died quietly just before midnight" last night. Despite treatment for brain cancer, for some time, he gave 3 performances at Cobargo Folk festival last weekend. His partner, Gael Shannon, did a great job in getting him there - and, with Margaret Walters, keeping him on track with some of the songs. I've been looking thru the pics of Danny I have. We'll be posting some pics om the Loaded Dog Folk Club facebook page as Danny appeared @ The Dog yearly from at least 2010. He was a great singer & a good bloke.
