So many memories...Carlisle folk club c. 1983 when I told a bunch of people I'd recently befriended that they should go see Brimmo, and that I would refund their entrance money if they didn't enjoy him. Needless to say it didn't cost me a penny! He got half a dozen new fans that day.

He was a seriously class act.
