You could always try "Acorns" written by Eric Payne and recorded on his CD of the same name and on Bill Whaley and Dave Fletcher's CD Acorn to Oak. It references ostler, labourer, farrier, blacksmith, carter, herdsman, keeper, poacher, hawker, tramp and ploughman. (Sorry about the last one!)
