Oh yeah, we's fine. We were without power for just about 48 hours though, which is about 5 times as long as we've ever been out in the 34 years I've lived here. One night in the Best Western, one in the Holiday Inn Express a couple of blocks away. I reserved the Holiday again for the next night, as Detroit Edison couldn't even give an estimate for restoration yet. We stopped at home just to get swimwear for the pool (they always require it, darnit), were in the house for just a couple of minutes and the power came back on. I was looking forward to a little pool and hot tub time, but it would have been pricey when we no longer needed the shelter.
