I met Danny at his brother's (Mickey Spooner) club The Jingling Gate in Essex - both Mick and Danny sang Hey Rain together and of course once Danny had returned to Oz or NZ or wherevere he lived, Mick sang it many times with his friend Pete - it has always been a favourite of mine - but have 2 say that I liked Mick's voice the best - sorry 2 hear of his passing.
