Remembering my own rather humble upbringing and beginning to revert back to using less expensive cuts of meat and Mom's techniques as I find myself with reduced finances in early retirement. Although I have some healthier techniques and recipes than she had access or knowledge of back in the 50's and 60's, finding it gratifying, plus feeling chagrined about how snooty I became over the years.
