Wonderful song. Made all the more poignant for me by the assertion by Daniel Buckley in his testimony that it was Mrs Astor who threw the shawl over him in the lifeboat. This would have meant that Buckley was on Lifeboat 13. My grandfather's cousin Robert Hopkins from the Ardoyne in Belfast was an able seaman assigned to that lifeboat.
