True story, I bought one of these $10.00 scratchies in a small town in remote north west Australia on a saturday morning in the 90's. Took it home along with the saturday paper, scratched it and found it said we had won $200,000.00 AUD. My wife didn't believe me and I found it hard to believe too. Went to a friends place to get a third opinion and lo and behold there it was. They agreed it was true.

Went to the store on the Monday and it was confirmed. I scanned a copy of the ticket and then took time off from work and flew to Perth to collect the cheque..... the long and the short of it was that we paid off the house and I had enough left over to buy a 1928 Vega banjo with a mother of pearl Tree of Life inlay on the fretboard. A happy chappy was I indeed.

Six months later I won another $6000.00 on anther ticket. You just can't pick 'em though and I don't lose any sleep in trying to duplicate what happened, its all way too random.
