Curious about when the Drinking Gourd opened. The record I have of folk singers playing there seems circa '62-'63, but no date. The liners talk about the bar opening 3 years prior to the album. Sounds terrific! It's titled "The Drinking Gourd Vol. II" Anyone have volume one for sale? My records has owners Charlie Stivers & George Sayre along with: Carl Pagter, Bob Steger, Dave & Joanne Spence, Noreen St. Pierre, Pete Pinnock.
