"i have been playing in folk clubs for 43 years" - not quite as much as me, then. "i play folk music i do not what you play guest," - I play traditional music. " my worst experiences are not in guest booking folk clubs but in some singaround type folk clubs, mainly unrehearsed performances from amatuers" - Agree 100%, the reason for my post above, and that I believe is the whole point of "MM's"original thread. There's nothing new in any of this - all fairly pointless. Bye.
