Reading the constant arguments about what folk song and music is and how it should be performed and presented,reminds me of the similar arguments in religious circles. We all enjoy folk song and music but we all have our own ideas of what it is. Christians all follow Christ in one form or another,as Muslims do with the Prophet,and of course their chosen way is the only proper way to do so. At least the "what is folk" debate has't led to bloodshed so far.
