It had something to do with candlesticks. Grabbing gold or silver candlesticks was looting. Grabbing brass or pewter candlesticks was pillaging. Or maybe it was the other way around. I forget. Either way, I gave up and became a wandering minstrel. You don't have to know the difference between looting and pillaging to sing about them. ♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫ I tried to pillage, and tried to loot But screwed it up and got the boot So now I sing and strum my lute And beat my drum and toot my flute ♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫
