Sorry again, Steve, but what can Jim tell us about the folk clubs of today? A man who readily admits that he has not set foot in folk club for many years and left England for a life in the Emerald Isle is not really in a position to understand what the issues are in 2017. OK, we may say that in 1954 the folk clubs were thriving so if we went back to whatever they were were doing then, they will thrive again. But we all know that that is not true. Don't we? DtG
