"At last we have another definition if a song can raise the hair on the back of your neck or cut to the emotions then it's a folk song !" Try reading the original post! I stated /asked if it was a vital component of what constitutes a folk song. Component = constituting part of a larger whole; constituent. How can a part of something define the whole?
