Sold my old Yamaha nearly 40 years ago and always regretted it and, apart from that, the only other one that's gone was a duplicate - same make/model.

Trouble is that no two guitars ever sound alike and every time you find one which sounds different (I won't say better 'cos that's a subjective decision) you need to have it; which is why I've ended up with a dozen or so.

Same applies to mandolins and I actually have more of those than guitars 'cos they don't take up as much space.
