Stewed turkey. Interesting! I have a bird in the small fridge continuing to thaw after it spent the day in a deep tub of water defrosting. On Monday morning it will go into brine for a few hours (until we know my son's girlfriend will be able to catch the standby flight she is aiming for). Once she's on the plane, the bird goes into the oven. Baking time and standing time mean she should be walking in the door at dinner time. (That will translate to about 3-3.5 hours in the oven for an unstuffed bird.)
