So if the universe is expanding at an ever increasing rate presumably, given enough time, a galaxy that is far enough away will drop out of sight as it will be moving away from us at a speed beyond the limit of light speed. Moving on from this, at some point we would only be able to observe our own galaxy, then our own solar system (hypothetical as it would have aged to destruction long before this). Eventually you wouldn't even get light from the sun. I know that a lot of other things would happen to stop this scenario but basically, if the universe expansion accelerates away do we reach a point where the entire universe is expanding beyond light speed at a local level?
