Big Al: it's surely not just about what you want? What about the feelings of the person who has made that song, in that venue, one of their party-pieces? And more to the point, what about the audience? If they are already hearing a certain song frequently sung by one of their regulars, wouldn't they appreciate hearing something different from another singer, rather than the same old, same old? I just can't think why singers would want to duplicate each other's songs at the same gathering. Marje
