A friend has asked me to teach her guitar. I am not qualified, but I hesitate to say no, because she's disabled and can't afford a teacher. She's a classically trained pianists and knows music theory. She's seen me strum along, using chords, so I suppose that's what she wants to do, as opposed to being the next Segovia. Has anybody learned folk guitar from YouTube or a DVD that would suit? I suppose folk is what we're after, not rock or blues styles. I'm asking for recommendations, because a person can spend a lot of time wading through ineffective YouTube videos.
