the point is Ake - one of the many pluses in society in the relatively more affluent and more educated society in which we find ourselves - existentially we are free. we don't have to accept our 'natural' role. and that goes for women, men and all points in between. but who knows, for all we know that could just be the received wisdom of our age. that is my point.
