Hi, Mom! We recently replaced our microwave oven. The new one beeps three times when the cooking job is finished and once more when the door is opened. Why does it beep when the door is opened? Does it think I need to be reminded that I'm opening the door? It's sorta like Windows 10 incessantly reminding me that the program I'm using is in full-screen mode. Thanks, Mr. Microsoft, but I'm the one who put the damned thing in full-screen mode! It didn't get that way be itself! Why do I need to be reminded?
