"i suppose with so many guns about - Americans are polite to each other, just to be on the safe side." Haw, haw, good one Al! Although. . . I live in West Virginia, which is full of hunters and Trump voters, and despite my marked Yankee accent, the people I meet and deal with daily are the most cordial and courteous--though anything but genteel--people I've met outside Japan. OT question alert: Whenever I put someone to trouble or mess up somehow, which is often, and I say something about it, the response is always "You're good," or "You're fine," = "No worries/problem." but warmer. Is this form common elsewhere?
