Hi keberoxu, Thanks for comments. Please note the listing for the RIDDLE ME THIS album shows it was issued by RIVERSIDE in 1957. The following line shows the WASHINGTON re-issue in 1961 as COURTING AND RIDDLE SONGS. Many of the Riverside folklore series albums were reprinted on the WASHINGTON label, some with different titles and new cover art, though they might have a subtitle which is the original Riverside title. The liner notes are the same. As far as I know, all the WASHINGTON reissues were exatly the same as the original, if you look at the wax some still carried the Riverside catalog number crossed off and the Washington number added. The only instance I am aware of where a Riverside album was NOT reproduced exactly is the JOHN RUNGE album which selected tracks from the two Riverside releases onto one Washington album. Cheers, Thomas.
