To Big Al Whittle, The Irish meal served today in the restaurant I went to in California near where I live was corned beef and cabbage, red potatoes & carrots. The meal also came with soup and salad and for desert green mint icecream all for $12.99. (Of course the soup and salad was just part of the meal anyway which they always serve every day.) It was ok accept the corned beef was a little on the fatty side but had a good flavor and good portion. The green mint icecream was good! We got there about noon and restaurant was packed! Not all restaurants serve an Irish meal today, just a few I think in my area.
