In these United States, the "seasonal aisle" has been around for years, especially in those little markets which are organized around what you Brits call "chemists." In the US we call them "pharmacies" and there are chains/franchises of such, like Walgreens (all over the country), and CVS (prevalent in the East, next to none further West).
