why every Human Right organisation and most nations have Cuddly Assad all wrong most Western nations you mean , Jim ? Turkey , Israel Saudi Arabia condemn Assad as harshly as you do but other nations in the region as well as in other parts of the world - Russia, China , Cuba , Venezuela, Pakistan for instance - have good relations with Syria .The countries that supported the invasion of Iraq tend to take the anti-Syrian line. I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that pro-Syrian countries have pro-Syrian human rights organizations in the same way as anti-Syrian countries have their own anti-Syrian human rights organisations!
