Well, Mom, we had an eventful Easter egg hunt. An overzealous young egg hunter mistakenly shot what appeared to be the Easter Bunny, thinking it was an elaborately decorated egg. But, upon closer inspection, it turned out to be the White Rabbit from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. So, it looks like we'll be able to have Easter again next year, though the exact repercussions of the White Rabbit's demise for Lewis Carroll fans and scholars are unclear.

Anyway, we harvested a few dozen good-sized Easter eggs and the guys are busy gutting and skinning them as we speak. Looks like it's gonna be egg salad and rabbit stew for supper.
