Big Al Whittle Rocks of Bawn variants - how many? (3) Rocks of Bawn variants - how many? 03 Apr 18

I was watching the Begleys on TV sing ploughing the rocks of bawn, and i wondered how many people have used this tune. or if perhaps, it comes from an earlier source..?

Obviously Dylan used it for I pity the poor immigrant. Also there was that Peggy Seeger song about a woman telling her kids that Dad's over in England building the motorways. I'm sure there must others.
