Melanie first came to this country in 1970 for the Isle of Wight Festival. I first went to a Melanie Concert in 2008 at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall, Brilliant Concert! Next time I went to a Melanie Covert was a year later at Manchester, Yet! another Brilliant Concert, Her Son, Beau took a photo of Me with my Arm around Melanie! Some of her songs, were, Ruby Tuesday; Peace Will Come; Look What They've Done to My Song Ma, just to mention a few! Melanie is Now 71 Years of Age, and still tours in America, but Not the Country Anymore! Shame! As anyone else ever met Melanie Safka? Regards Phil Subkow
