In Kelso we had out first festival last year and it went well and we just made a bit of a profit - so we are repeating it this year. It is a risk putting things on but we did it the other way round though in that we built the funds up over several years so we had plenty to cover everything should we not manage to sell tickets etc. The club members play in the Cobbles Inn every week after out floor spot session which is in a nearby hotel. The tin goes at our early session plus later round the pub for donations towards bringing music to the town and it is amazing what is collected through the year. http://www.kelsofolkfest.org/
