I second pedal steel. There would, of course, be the degree in mechanical engineering
required to maintain it. And then the music theory course to understand the tuning.
I guess, also, natural pitch would help. But what a sound, a Lay Lady Lay.
And it's to be found unexpectedly on lots of recordings you love.
