I disagree with what Senoufou posted above:

A child is its own person, it's not anybody's possession, not even its parents. Every child deserves an honest, intelligent name, not a name which says "my parents don't respect me."

Just because something is legal doesn't guarantee that it's a decent thing to do.

Fortuately society is more powerful than any pair of fools, and Montmorency Coughdrop will soon be altered to Monte.
