People are always looking for an easy option to staying healthy and living longer but, if you're prepared to make the effort, there are already ways of doing just that. It's about adopting a healthy lifestyle, including a good diet, plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. I'm 69 and I do around 5 hours of yoga a week (OK, I'll admit that mrsleveller is training to be a yoga teacher), plus a pilates class and maybe three hours or so of weight training in the gym. That's in addition to my outdoor pursuits. As regards keeping mentally active, I'm about to start an Open University Arts and Humanities degree. When I retired from full-time work I decided that I needed this sort of regime so that I didn't just sink into old age like so many of my contemporaries seemed willing to resign themselves to and, so far at least, it seems to be working. I'll post an update when I reach 100.
