Song waiting to be written: a few years ago a tomcat from a fishing village in the Outer Hebrides was found when a boat docked on the mainland. They neutered him and sent him back. Guy stows away on a voyage to the bright lights in search of pussy ("the boat smelt of fish"), and gets shipped home with his bollocks cut off, has to be a song storyline.
