Have you ever heard someone in the House of Commons being argumentative for the sake of argument and lose their thread of thought to the point they can not even agree with actual supporters. There is truth, strategy and honor in being able to recant. Some of you won't acknowledge a reasonable point for fear it would diminish your ego. In America we say people who can't be honest with themselves as "he couldn't say shit if he had a mouthful". A little flexibility won't make you younger but it could make you wiser, and help you avoid being a shithead. Admittedly arguing is fun but the only people keeping score are in your imagination. If you want it to count, run for office.
