On Thursday, my better half an I will be staying in Glossop for three nights for a short break to the peak district. Is anyone aware of any folk music sessions in the area during our break? Also, any recommendations for places to eat/drink in the evening in Glossop - I have heard that the pub on top of the hill on the way to Buxton has closed down, and any stop=off points for a hearty breakfast on Thursday morning coming up from London - the Super Sausage near Towcester comes to mind.
