Shortly before he was killed, Laurie Griffiths was developing an ABC to tab generator (incorporated in his ABC programme Muse) that used artificial intelligence techniques to create optimal tab for any piece of ABC input - he said you might find that if you changed something at the end of the tune the changes could propagate all the way back to the start, he was optimizing on a large scale. Laurie was good as all of guitarist, mathematician and programmer. Whatever he was working on would have been amazing, and he was only days away from releasing it when that shit in the Maserati drove onto the pavement and ran him down. But as far as I know all his work on that version of Muse was lost.
