2 to the power 100 equals (about) 10 to the power 30. Which is not out of kilter with current inflationary theory, which is an expansion of about 10 to the power 26 very early (the first 10 to the power -32 seconds), then a more gradual expansion, then acceleration. I would quibble with Donuel's use of the word "only" though, 10 to the power 30 is an awful lot of expansion. The video is interesting, Matt O'Dowd is a credible astrophysicist, but I don't think he really makes this subject accessible for the non-specialist (which includes me). And I think the clever graphics tend to distract from the explanations rather than clarify them.
