I offered it just because it is a good point (and better made there than I've seen it elsewhere. I'm a big admirer of xkcd). Not sure it even matters whether I *am* slapping anyone down, it's just a "if you think the cap fits someone, imagine them wearing it" thing, draw your own conclusions.

But for me it chimes with comments about enjoying winding people up. And thinking that life's too short to spend it providing people with such pointless amusements.
