Another "patently it is not" is the monthly session in our local pub, which is still known by the name of the former landlady, who retired well over 20 years ago. The pub has had various proprietors since, and even been through a couple of periods of closure between landlords, but the name has stuck, in respect for the good lady who was there when the session first started, maybe 40 years ago now.
