I tried horse riding and fell off and broke my shoulder at my first outing. I had similar accident whilst ice skating.
I played in several sports too. Football; Rugby mainly Union but did play League as well. In the summer Cricket was my game. I also played Basketball while I was in the Air Force. I was also a good smimmer but not competitively I swam across Lake Windemere at it's widest point. It was for charity and we were all covered by marshalls in canoes. Brrrrrrr !! very cold. Tried cycling but saddle soreness was a roblem.
