Jim Carroll wrote "What's it all about Malfi" Yes, I'm sure that Burt Bacharach had Elizabethan tragedy in mind when he wrote that great hit for both Cilla Black and Dionne Warwick; but I'm sure that not the only example of Burt taking songs from the drama of that era. Burt also wrote "Another Lear Falls" which was a great hit for the Walker Brothers. I feel I ought to point out that neither of these songs have Roud numbers.
