Hi, Mom!

I have had to procure yet another wee mousie for this computer. The previous one did not merely stop working, but expired rather violently when a lightning strike fried the poor little thing. It happened to be in my hand at the time, and I received a nasty shock. At first, I thought lighting had struck the house itself, but it turned out to have only hit nearby and sent a voltage spike down the power line and right into the poor little mousie's electronic innards. The computer itself seems to be undamaged.

The new mousie is wireless, though I don't suppose that makes it entirely immune to future voltage spikes. The little USB gizmo that makes it work is still vulnerable. But, at least, my hand won't be in direct contact with anything physically attached to the computer.
