Spaw - this time of year, no they get pretty picky. Strawberries and canteloupe, and nightcrawlers, pretty much sums up winter feeding rituals.

In the warmer months, they eat leftover almost any vegetation matter. My "living garbage disposals". Nightcrawlers year round. Cheap dogfood (the "good" stuff has too much protein and can damage their kidneys) again only in the warmer months, and the male won't eat it EVER. In the summer, mine are outdoors during the daytime and they catch anything that moves. It's pretty funny watching a turtle stalk a spider.

What are you feeding yours, and how long have you had it?
