Saint Dougal the Drunken of Dangle, Ireland. He was the saint who turned spring water into beer! He was the founder of the McBride clan back around the year 689 A.D., leading to many generations of drunken and disreputable layabouts and scoundrels who have now spread in a diaspora all across the western world, as far north as Ellesmere Island and as far south as Tierra Del Fuego. Shane claims to be a direct descendant of Saint Dougal the Drunken.
