Oddly enough, Lead (long time no speak, how are you, my dear chap?), I believe JRR himself abhorred the idea of anyone trying to set music to Middle Earth. I am a Flanders & Swann fan, but I think I've heard some of Swann's efforts & wasn't impressed. One big hurdle is that Swann was a pianist, and there ain't no pianos in Arda! ;-)
